Self-Care Starts With What You Wear

“Treat yourself” is an easy thing to say, but when it comes to actually doing it, it requires true intention and time.
Self-care can range from getting your hair done, buying a new wardrobe, or sometimes simply doing absolutely nothing at all. Professionals who wear scrubs often work in careers centered around taking care of others. This includes nurses, cosmetologists, certified nurse aides, dental professionals, and even makeup artists.
These professionals wake up every day prepared to care for others, knowing that it can sometimes come at the cost of neglecting themselves.
At Ourz Scrubs, we understand how difficult it can be to manage the demands of everyday people and responsibilities. We also understand how much harder your day becomes when you are wearing a scrub brand that takes little to no consideration for your comfort throughout the day.
Depending on the scrub brand, there are times you may worry about whether your scrubs will show your midriff, reveal undergarments, lose their shape, or survive repeated washes without wearing down.
It is well known that when you look good, you feel good. Imagine how much easier your mornings could feel if you knew your scrubs would fit perfectly every single time you put them on.
When getting ready for your day, having reliable, flattering, comfortable scrubs should be one less thing on your mind.
Finding scrubs that properly accommodate wider hips, fuller busts, or curvier body types can be frustrating. After speaking with many curvy women who are required to wear scrubs yet struggle to find comfortable curve-fitting options, I realized many women have learned to compromise their discomfort by finding fun badge reels, colorful scrub caps, and accessories that help them still feel feminine, stylish, and expressive while at work.
As women, we are often taught to compromise our femininity for the sake of professionalism. However, there is absolutely a way to embrace your womanhood while still presenting yourself professionally.
There is no reason to hide your curves or feel uncomfortable in your work attire simply because your career requires you to constantly pour into others.
You deserve workwear that supports you, moves with you, and reminds you that professionalism and femininity can exist together.
At Ourz Scrubs, we created scrubs for the everyday curvy working woman who does it all — the women balancing careers, families, patients, clients, businesses, long shifts, and everyday life while still showing up for everyone around them.
Now it’s time to show up for yourself, too.
We invite you to join the growing community of women choosing comfort, confidence, and curves without compromise.
Because self-care is not always a spa day.
Sometimes, self-care starts with what you wear every single day.
